For the vegans and vegetarians-

I've been veg*n for 21 years. About a year or two in, an ex-vegetarian started working with my boyfriend and told him, "Oh my god, you have to convince your girlfriend to stop being a vegetarian! She'll turn green! It happens if you're vegetarian for three or four years..." I swear, the whole time we were together (11 years) he scanned me regularly for signs of green-ness. Perhaps I'm some sort of miracle veg*n 'cause I'm still, you know, flesh colored....
