Is Torchwood over now?!?

I asked this the other day, I got an answer saying that Russell T Davies has series 4 written and ready to go, but was waiting to see how well this series went. Was very good I thought, up until today, weird ending, Ianto dead, Jack made to look like a total git. Hope there is more!
