To be honest, hatred wouldn't exist if religion ceased to exist. The reason you dislike him (and your "teacher" dislikes him) is because he is gay. That's something that's out of his control. We don't choose our ual orientation. It is determined biologically. Too many people are under the impression that "gay" is a disease that one can catch and spread. It doesn't work like that. You are either gay or not. This person confided in you. He told you his true feelings, he didn't hit on you. And you're not helping him by avoiding him and treating him like he's less than human. You're what's wrong with the world right now. You must learn to tolerate others. Isn't that your supposed message? Tolerance? Love? At least, that's what I hear the Christians are all about. Your actions contradict your beliefs. You're anything but loving.
