In greek mythology, were there any demigod hunters?

I had a nightmare last night and it has really creeped me out as when a demigod dreams it's normally true advents so this dream I had about a demigod hunter could be true. So does anyone know if they are demigod hunters? like they could be hit men who capture demigods and take them to kings to be killed and the hunter gets payed?
