Can I get a non-partisan interpretation of Senator Obama's comments regarding changing what we eat, drive, etc

I don't believe he is going to enact any mandate,in fact we already have laws to penalize indulgence and overindulgence of certain things. Those laws came from both parties. Glad you are doing things on your own.
