How can I convince my parents to let me get LEGO Universe?

I was a beta tester and immediately fell in love with LU. My mom has been refusing to allow me to get it. I offered to pay for it my self,and asked for it if I got commended on all my TAKS tests (Texas essment of Knowledge & Skills) to both she said no. Does any one have any suggestions?
