Why do todays teens feel the need to act like ganstas and thugs?

What is wrong with kids today is that some parents have not taught their children (their responsibilities) respect and good manners or good work ethics. Many parents are 'afraid' their kids will get mad at them for being the "heavy" and unfortunately, now society has to pay the price.
